Party walls

We have considerable experience and involvement with all aspects of Party Walls in accordance with the Party Wall etc Act 1996, which came in to effect 1st July 2007, superseding the London Building Acts and extending Party Wall legislation throughout England & Wales. We have acted as both Building Owner’s and Adjoining Owner’s surveyors for the purposes of the Act and are able to provide expert advice in respect of the statutory rights and obligations of the relevant parties involved in Party Wall matters to ensure that the correct protocol and procedures are followed and the rights of all parties are suitably represented.

We have the knowledge and experience to ensure that appointments are correctly formalised, the relevant notices and documents are issued and dealt with and to prepare or agree any schedules of conditions and Awards that may be required. We are also able to deal with any problems that may arise within the remit of the Party Wall Act and ensure that any remedial measures or compensation issues are suitably addressed.
